It’s capital Canberra is further inland. The country is well known for the sydney opera house, other
attractions are the Great barrier reef, Blue mountains, Great ocean road, Uluru, Sydney harbour bridge,
Fraser island, Kakadu National Park and more.

In sydney the average temperature in the summer is 23 degrees celsius (73 degrees fahrenheit) and in

The australian culture is more of a western culture, derived mainly from britain but also influenced by
unique geography of australia, with a diverse input of aborigines, the torres strait islander and oceanian
people. The british came and settled on australian land in 1788 and waves of migration followed.

Food
Meat pies and pasties are considered a staple food in australia from the 1800’s they also eat their
national animal the kangaroo other meats they eat are beef, pork or mutton (meat of an adult sheep).

Festivities
Australia day is on the 26th of january. It is a day to remember the first 11 ships that arrived in australia
from britain, and the and the raising of the australian flag at sydney cove by arthur phillip in 1788.

On australia day the australians come together (as a nation) to celebrate a memory they will never forget.
Aborigines art 
Aborigines are from north queensland and love their special art made from dots and bright colours.
There's also other art such as bradshaw rock painting which I will tell you about.
The painting were done by the early aborigines and were pictures of the bradshaws
Overall Australia is a great place to live, work and play although there are some downsides like snakes
and more there is things to keep you entertained.
